What You'll Be Doing:
- The Registered Nurse (RN) assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing nursing needs, implementation and delegation of the patient care in the Special Procedures Department.
- Provides care to patients who are receiving diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiovascular and radiology areas.
- Demonstrates clinical expertise in maintaining standards of nursing care and practice, teaching and communication skills.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
Per diem, Varied shift. Includes weeknights, weekends, holiday on-call coverage
- Associate Degree in Nursing required. Bachelors degree (preferred)
- 1-2 years Critical Care experience (required).
- 2 - 4 years (preferred), PTCA experience (preferred), Interventional Radiology and Vascular Access (preferred)
- Valid NJ RN License required.
- BLS/ACLS/IABP/Impella (required)
- Hemodynamic monitoring, EKG interpretation, Midlines & PICC
