About The Opportunity
Inventory Lead will oversee the flow of inventory into and out of a warehouse, from investigating discrepancies, rack storage, cycle counting, inbound and outbound shipments.
Essential Job Functions
The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensure inventory personnel are in compliance with procedures, GMP, Safety, and company policies
- Responsible for required SOP training for the Inventory personnel
- Perform investigations, reports, and making system adjustment as necessary
- Responsible overseeing all inventory floor functions (production support, EOR, cycle counting, rejects, receiving and shipping)
- Verifies that all inbounds are being received systematically and in a timely manner
- Responsible for managing the flow of inbound and outbound loads
- Work in conjunction with the Quality Department for positive production results
Education & Experience - Education Desired - High School Diploma or Equivalent
- One or more years of related experience or training in the fields of shipping, receiving and inventory.
- One year of experience operating a scissor lift, reach and/or stand up truck.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Must work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including listening and leader skills are needed.
- Ability to understand and use all applicable aspects of WMS
- Demonstrate the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to interpret instructions both oral and written
Physical Requirements & Work Environment - Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting
- Walking, standing, bending for duration of shift
- Frequent lifting of 25 lbs or more
