The Role:

The Small Scale Technician role includes restoring, updating, and continuously improving the operation of all small-scale sites and plant equipment, to ensure that it follows the requirements of OSHA's PSM regulations. Identify loop areas and develop, improve, and execute the appropriate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs, and processes to ensure high equipment functionality and reliability levels. Monitor all sites' operational performance via SCADA/PI-Vision program, and give site DCS, PLC, RIO, and all other industrial automation systems support.


Service Engineer Responsibilities:


  • Will be in charge of maintaining multiple small scale sites across New Fortress Energy
  • Monitor and control cost, schedule, progress, and productivity of all site projects.
  • Perform functionality test and site recertification.
  • Recertification of all sites pressure vessels.
  • Daily monitoring of all site s operational performance via SCADA/PI-Vision, check and troubleshoot all alarms and notifications.
  • Update site documentation, improve SOP and develop maintenance documents.
  • Perform backups of control configuration files.
  • Calibrate transmitters and install new transmitters and actuators to improve the operation system.
  • First Responder to site for all technical matters including offloading issues, shutdown issue & performance issues.
  • Perform tag-out and lockout services for maintenance.
  • Track Maintenance Expenditure, and monitoring inventory and reordering parts when needed.
  • Develop critical spare parts list and procurement of critical spare parts.
  • Supervise all maintenance and site improvement activity on site and ensure manages permit to work system and oversee safety and safety work practices and procedures.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance across all sites and complete work orders over the CMMS.
  • Liaison and work along with Clients and Contractors to minimize down time or any problem on the Client side of operation.
  • Will be based out of Miami Terminal and expected to assist local assets when not traveling.
