DSJ Global is partnered with a top food and beverage company to hire a dynamic and strong leader to be Maintenance Manager at its Denver, Colorado site,
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field OR minimum of 6 years of technical experience in the food industry
- Thorough understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), EPA, and OSHA regulations
- Leadership experience
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all plant maintenance activities and projects, prioritizing safety, quality, and reliability
- Provide leadership aligned with the company's values and High-Performance Work System principles
- Supervise and coach maintenance team members, conducting performance reviews and offering feedback
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DHEC, NEC, and FDA regulations
- Direct mechanics in approved maintenance work, including quality control, cost management, and timely completion
- Manage Preventative Predictive Maintenance (PPM) work orders and audit completion
- Review and improve pre-planned job packages, collaborating with craft resources and maintenance planner/scheduler
- Identify and address skills training needs, assigning tasks based on individual abilities
- Maintain a safe work environment through good housekeeping and adherence to safe work practices
- Provide support in troubleshooting equipment issues
- Ensure accurate documentation of labor, parts, and work through the CMMS
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of food safety systems.
