**Position Summary:** The Warehouse Technician position is responsible for being a part of the assembly and production of final products. There are four essential functions of a Warehouse Technician: Parts Pulling, Packaging, Shipping, and Receiving. The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for learning each job of the warehouse, as listed previously, to help support the business in all aspects of performance to meet goals. Our work schedule is Monday-Friday, first shift. We operate in a team environment, so a positive attitude and hard work are expected.

The Rockford (Greater Knoxville) manufacturing facility is the North American Headquarters and products are shipped to subsidiary, branch, and end-user customers throughout the United States and Canada. AESSEAL is the 4th largest Knoxville-AreaTechnology Company. The business seeks to cultivate our employees internally and has made development and advancement a top priority. The business is investing in new equipment in 2019 as it continues to expand in a systematic and controlled growth pattern.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

**PARTS PULLING**

Responsible for filling customer orders.

Responsible for receiving all goods.

Responsible for stocking all parts.

Make stock adjustments when necessary

Issue parts to shop assembly.

Correctly label all parts that are pulled for sales orders.

Put away stock that belongs to carousels.

Responsible for pulling parts.

Check stock codes and proper quantities against packing slips and work orders.

Pull sales orders when items are in their bin and items that are in carousels 1, 2, and 3.

Work over-time when required.

**PACKAGING**

Boxing up for Logo Boxes.

Ensure labels are correct.

Special instructions followed.

Using proper boxing guidelines.

Match paperwork to correct work order Sign off required.

Run Packing Slips.

Double-check all sales slips.

Complete work orders.

Responsible for all transfer for work orders.

Responsible for keeping up with all supplies needed to run daily operations

Prioritizing sales orders.

Red, standards.

Communicate to shipping any shipping changes.

**SHIPPING**

Ensure labels are correct.

Special instructions followed.

Using proper shipping guidelines.

Match paperwork to correct work order Sign off required.

Run Packing Slips.

Responsible for keeping up with all supplies needed to run daily operations

Prioritizing shipping orders based on need.

Red, standards.

Verifying correct information for shipping/making updates with corrected shipping information.

Tracking orders when required and reporting information.

Communicate to any shipping changes.

**RECEIVING**

Receives merchandise, checks and signs delivery slips.

Assists with unloading as necessary.

Unpacks merchandise, verifies quality and quantity against supporting documents.

Accepts or returns merchandise according to established procedures.

Completes forms and prepares documents, maintaining files according to procedures.

Organizes distribution of merchandise received, and moves to appropriate area.

Contacts appropriate personnel for information regarding shipments received when necessary.

Maintains work area, organizing and placing stock in appropriate areas.

Follows all established safety practices.

Qualifications **Preferred Education and Experience:**

* High School Graduate or GED preferred, but not required.

* Minimum of 1 year warehouse, assembly or production experience; and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

* Preferable experience in a manufacturing environment

* Prior experience or knowledge of mechanical seals or pumps a plus but not required.
