Stellaromics, Inc. is looking for an experienced Research Associate to join our development team and delve into the fascinating world of bioimaging, genomics, and transcriptomics. You'll have the opportunity to work with experts across various fields, learning and contributing every step of the way.


Role Overview:


Positioned within our R&D team, this role offers the unique advantage of interfacing advanced bioimaging techniques with genomics and transcriptomics. This role seeks individuals who are eager to operate within a vibrant and interdisciplinary environment and collaborate with team members from many diverse backgrounds (biophysics, engineering, genomics, and biological sciences).


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the optimization of assay conditions in synchrony with our product development.
  • Complete tissue sectioning, routine staining, and tissue processing, and advanced in situ RNA detection techniques.
  • Perform routine molecular biology, maintain mammalian cell cultures, and oversee cell-based imaging assays.
  • Collect data using microscopes in conjunction with an automated fluidic system and document detailed feedback for our engineering team
  • Track lab inventory and tissue samples, ensuring the timely procurement of reagents and consumables.


Qualifications:


  • A B.S or M.S. degree in Biology, Chemistry, Bioengineering, or related disciplines.
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience in a similar domain, academic or industry, and a robust foundation in molecular and cell biology.
  • A desire to work in a fast-paced and rapidly growing start-up environment.
  • Ability to be agile and have a can-do solution-oriented approach to problems.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US.
  • Experience in tissue clearing, microscopy and/or in situ-sequencing a plus.
