We offer Whole Life, Term Life and Final Expense Life insurance products from a top-rated carriers. Additionally, we offer supplemental benefits that include Dental, Vision, Hospital Indemnity, and Cancer coverage.
Role Description
This is a contract, remote role for a Health Insurance Agent. The Health Insurance Agent will be responsible for explaining health insurance options, policies, and coverage to clients, and ensuring that clients have the coverage they need. The Health Insurance Agent will also be responsible for helping clients navigate the healthcare system, and for helping clients to enroll in and manage their health insurance policies. Being fluent in a second language such as Spanish or Vietnamese is not required but would be very helpful.
Training
We have robust training resources that are available both remotely as well as regular in office training sessions where we deep dive into topics that will set you apart as an agent. Join us and you will soon be able to improve the lives of those you serve by being a trusted resource on topics like Social Security, Medicaid, Veterans Benefits, and More. We offer a free exam prep course to help you prepare to take your state exam if you are not already licensed. For those who are licensed already we will reimburse the cost for a limited time of your AHIP course when you contract and become ready to sell with Texans Benefit for Aetna, Cigna, United, and Physicians Mutual.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong sales and customer service skills
- Ability to explain complex policies and procedures in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information securely.
- Insurance license in the state of Texas is required.
