Position Overview:
Tru Fragrance & Beauty is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Ecommerce Operations Coordinator to join our team in Willowbrook, Illinois. This role is a key player in the management of our online sales operations. This role involves a wide array of responsibilities, including overseeing purchase orders, managing Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) orders, coordinating Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) shipments, and leading a dedicated team of 5-10 members. The Ecommerce Operations Coordinator is also accountable for the opening and closing of the building, ordering packaging and maintenance supplies, and maintaining clear communication with both the customer care team and the Ecommerce team regarding inventory status. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is necessary to effectively communicate with our diverse clientele and team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage D2C order fulfillment, including inventory management, packing, and shipping.
- Oversee receipt of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Coordinate FBA shipments, adhering to Amazon's operational requirements.
- Collaborate with a team of 5-10 e-commerce professionals, conducting training and development.
- Responsible for opening and closing the building, ensuring security and preparedness.
- Order all packaging materials and maintenance supplies, such as toilet paper and soap.
- Maintain effective communication with the customer care team regarding inventory status, out-of-stock items, refunds, and cancellations.
- Keep the E-Commerce team informed about low inventory or no inventory issues.
- Determine appropriate packaging solutions for new products.
- Process customer and Amazon returns efficiently and accurately.
- Schedule team hours in response to varying workloads, always guaranteeing adequate staffing.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
- Communicate proficiently in English and Spanish with the team and customers.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience in e-commerce operations and logistics, with leadership responsibilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and e-commerce platforms.
- Knowledge of shipping and fulfillment procedures, including FBA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A problem-solving mindset with the ability to devise practical solutions.
- Bachelor s degree or relevant work experience is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an e-commerce or logistics role with team leadership responsibilities.
