Technical Sales Representative


Job Details

Seeking an entry to developing level Technical Sales Representative as part of our Distribution team. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, self-driven member to support the full lifecycle sale process and as a result be able to prospect clients and close deals. This individual will serve as the point of contact for our distributor partners in the central and east regions. They should be well organized and be able to manage the daily operations of assigned accounts. In order to continue to generate revenue, this candidate should be able to uncover new client needs and find a way to add value to their business.


Responsibilities

  • Meet with customers in the central and east regions alongside distributor partners and/or independently to promote ROHM products and support customer projects until design win status is reached.
  • Maintain and update business opportunities within Salesforce
  • Keep an eye on new product introductions to ensure distributor partners are informed about ROHM's latest product portfolio
  • Present and train distributor branch personnel on ROHMs registerable products
  • Manage operation of accounts through responding to customers, forecasting, arranging services and ordering new product
  • Generate new leads and tackle existing leads to contribute to business growth
  • Attend trade shows and relevant conferences


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with up to 2 years experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (emphasis MS Excel).
  • Customer-facing etiquette
  • Strong organizational, communication and analytical skills Strong understanding of full sales process
  • Experience utilizing customer relationship management software (CRM), e.g. Salesforce
