The ***Construction Crew Member*** positions are within our Road Construction Division, where we are a leader in asphalt paving, products, and heavy civil construction. This includes Laborers, Operators, Concrete Masons, and Foreman. Our operating market includes Central, Southern, Eastern and Western parts of Pennsylvania.

The position will report to the supervisor and will be responsible for a variety of duties in and around job site of construction projects. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. The ideal candidate has a proven record of success in fast-paced environments. Must have the ability to work with and communicate with cross-functional teams.

* Complete tasks as directed by supervisor in a timely manner

* Maintain and clean work areas

* Handles, stacks, and move formwork and materials. Keep jobsite clean and orderly by cleaning and stacking materials not in use

* Locate, avoid, and protect existing underground utilities

* Read and interpret grade instruments (tape measures, grade rods, levels, and lasers)

* Apply basic knowledge of soil types, trenching, and shoring per PSHA regulations

* Ability to work in trench boxes, deep excavations, and in confined spaces

* Understanding of water and sewer line installation

* Able to work and assist others to work in a safe manner within the guidelines of the companys policies

**REQUIREMENTS:**

* Ability to use equipment properly and safely

* CDL preferred but not required

* Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency

* Must have an acceptable safety record and be committed to working safely

* Overtime as required

* Must comply with the companys drug and alcohol testing requirements

* Ability to work with a team and in a fast-paced environment

* Independent work ethic and professional, positive attitude

* Experience in handling hand and power tools

* Good work ethic, professional, and positive attitude

***The position is a full-time position with a great starting rate and excellent benefits package.***

***A sign on bonus of $500 will be awarded to all hired candidates after 90 days of employment.***
