Responsibilities
- Manage product life cycle and own/develop the strategic plan and provide inputs to the product roadmap defining the development cycle and prioritization
- Own/deliver key financial product line parameters including margins, standard costs and warranty, sales forecast, etc.
- Monitor industry/technology trends, regulatory drivers and competitive threats
- Interacts with all levels of the organization, including executive-level presentations and interfaces with regional marketing teams on developing/executing product launch plans
Qualifications
- Proven experience in product management and/or related products, ideally with both hardware and software.
- Hardware product management background.
- Business/financial responsibilities, being able to put use cases and budgets together
- Technical knowledge, being able to work well with engineers and define what they re working on
- Marketing skills, being able to give presentations both internally + externally at shows and events
- Experience in the retail or fleet petroleum industry is a strong plus
