Key responsibilities:
- Lead and collaborate with the design team to deliver interior projects at all stages.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, negotiating and consulting with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
- Formulate strategies to align with the studios design vision.
- Manage and contribute to project deliverables, timelines and budgets.
- Mentor junior designers
- Advanced understanding of all things FF&E: custom furnishings, lighting fabrication, drapery/soft goods, carpet qualities and installation methods.
- In-depth knowledge sourcing from vintage and contemporary high-end galleries and industry trades.
Skills and experience:
- Bachelors degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
- Ideally around 8-10 years experience, with the bulk being high-end Residential Interior Design
- Proven experience leading design teams in a senior position
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite and Studio Designer
