Our industry-leading insurance client is seeking an AEM Tech Lead. This is a hybrid role, candidates must work onsite in Hartford 3 times a week.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The Technical Lead will primarily support the company's Adobe Experience Manager and associated applications.
  • This includes managing the application assets and directing the development efforts.
  • The Technical Lead will partner with the Product Managers, Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and development staff to analyze application changes or modifications and confirm that they meet the business needs.
  • The key function of the role is to take architectural designs from the Solution Architect and document a technical design that can be shared with developers and then confirm (through code reviews and application analysis) that the solution meets the needs in a secure and performant way.
  • The Technical lead's time will be spent designing and documenting efficient, secure, reusable, and reliable code leveraging agreed establish specifications and standards. They will need to communicate design to the developers, answer questions, and handle design issues. They will manage code quality via code reviews, release management, and mentor developers.
  • The Technical Architect will be involved in the full lifecycle of the project from a technical design perspective and provide support analysis throughout the build, test, and deployment phases of the projects.
  • They will also collaborate with the enterprise and solution architects to develop and maintain architectural documentation and ensure associated technical efforts are planned, approved, and completed according to the roadmaps defined.
  • This is a hands on technical role couples with oversight specifically around the digital portal, Adobe Experience Manager, and associated .Net and Java applications.


Job Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience; including experience as a Technical Lead, Lead Developer, or related position
  • Expertise with Adobe Experience Manager and understanding of digital portals and related application suites
  • Leadership experience and ability to lead onsite and offshore development resources
  • Experience with .Net and/or Java, SQL and JavaScript programming


Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
