Job Details
Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Jacksonville, IL (30 minutes west of Springfield)
Shift: 12 Hour Shifts (615 630), 4 on/3 off, Day/Night rotation every 28 days
Compensation: $85,000 - $95,000
Responsibilities
Manage, direct, and coordinate all activities related to a production shift to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining safety and quality
Coordinate with the Scheduler to ensure daily production requirements are achieved
Ensure all production data is gathered and reported correctly on a daily basis
Support and improve upon quality initiatives designed to meet plant goals
Ensure the department is meeting target accuracy goals and completion rate of the weekly inventory cycle counts; manage warehouse and ensure accuracy of inventory and shipping counts
In locations where applicable, responsible to comply with SQF and GMP practices and programs to ensure safe food packaging product and to report food safety problems to those with authority to take action
Recruit, train, and hire employees
Qualifications
- Leadership, background in leading teams either via military or manufacturing/production management
- Degree preferred but no required
- Strong communication skills
- SAP and/or Oracle (GCSS) preferred, not required
