Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate packaging of outbound parts orders and receipt of incoming parts
  • Fill, package and mark parts orders to meet delivery schedules; pick and pack orders for counter staff
  • Receive ordered parts and check items for damage, correct quantities, or back orders
  • Help with stocking and posting orders upon arrival to expedite delivery
  • Assist parts drivers in loading and unloading parts and report low inventory to Parts Manager
  • Pull orders from printed packing slips for both customers and shop repair orders; handle core returns and help with physical inventory counts
  • Load and unload stock merchandise
  • Maintain parts and supplies inventories in an organized manner, rotating or shifting stock as needed
  • Prepare seasonal parts/accessories displays and warehouse shelves as directed
  • Order and ship emergency parts from vendors to customers

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent degree preferred
  • Strong communication and customer relations skills
  • Excellent math and reading comprehension skills
  • General understanding of various functions of a distribution center
  • Warehouse experience and material handling equipment experience preferred
  • Strong computer and software skills
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
