  • Candidates located within the Chicago area (30-40 miles) are preferred.
  • Standard work hours: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM CST.

Overview

Our client is seeking a Recruiter to join their team. As a Recruiter, you will play a pivotal role in driving high-volume full life-cycle recruiting initiatives to employ a wide range of IT professionals. This entails actively engaging in every stage of the recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding, to ensure the timely and successful placement of top-tier talent. Your primary objective will be to strategically source candidates who align with the unique requirements and culture of our clients' organizations. This involves employing a diverse range of sourcing methods and techniques, including but not limited to leveraging job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks. Furthermore, you will be tasked with developing a robust pipeline of qualified candidates, proactively identifying talent, and cultivating relationships with potential candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Actively search for potential candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and referrals.Interview candidates to determine knowledge, skills, and abilities compared to job scope and requirements.
  • Review resumes, cover letters, and job applications to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and experience.
  • Evaluate candidate fit to company needs and make recommendation to hiring managers based on these interviews.
  • Manage candidate experience including positioning the opportunity & company, administer technical exercises, phone screens, coordinate interview schedules, administer pre-employment assessments, summarize feedback, make hiring recommendations, and manage the offer process.
  • Manage position vacancies using an applicant tracking system (ATS): posting vacancies, searching the database, reviewing resumes, forwarding resumes and maintaining candidate activity.
  • Offer constructive feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process, including after interviews or assessments, to support their professional development.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, recruitment techniques, and best practices to continuously improve recruitment processes and outcomes.
