Procurement Manager

One of our newest clients is looking for an experienced procurement professional! They are looking to get this person on board their growing company asap!

Responsibilities:


\- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery of goods and services.
\- Manage the entire purchasing process, from identifying suppliers to negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery.
\- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities and pricing.
\- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
\- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including supplier information, contracts, and purchase orders.
\- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise.
\- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement management.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
-Proven experience as a purchasing specialist or in a similar role.
-Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
-Familiarity with quality management principles and practices.
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Strong communication and negotiation skills.
-Proficient in using procurement software systems and tools.
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
