We re seeking a Temp to hire Bookkeeper for to work for a clothing manufacturing company in Chatsworth, CA. Responsibilities:
The highest level of confidentiality with all financial information and company strategies
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
Processes customer invoices, milestone billing invoices for transactions and payment requests.
Financial Statements
Sheets, Income Statements, Ledgers, Journal Entries, Supporting documents for checks and invoicing and record all journal entries required to accurately reflect the monthly activity
Maintain all supporting documentation of month end closing and balances
Process monthly bank reconciliation processed in Quick Books for Manager to reconcile and close out the month.
Assemble packing slips with invoices and pay vendors
Process vendor payments, upload check runs to bank; positive pay process (fraud control)
of monthly financial statements and related footnotes
Filing of all accounting documents, AP, AR, Taxes, etc.
Trial balance; making necessary adjustments to journal entries to correct discrepancies
other tasks or projects as deemed necessary by supervisor
3+ years of progressive accounting experience
QuickBooks Software experience required
Payrate: $24.00-25 an hour
Onsite Monday- Friday 8:30am-5pm
