Our client, an e-commerce company located in Brooklyn, NY, is looking for a Workplace Facilities Associate to join their Facilities team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Perform daily walkthroughs to ensure our office meets and exceeds expectations, identifying any issues and areas that need repairs, cleanup, or contractor work.
Manage preventive maintenance schedules and systems for MEP buildings systems and equipment, operational procedures, and work order compliance
Help to ensure all building and maintenance policies, procedures, SOPs, codes, and regulations are followed and carried out, including safety and security protocols.
Be the face of Workplace Facilities! Provide an outstanding employee experience by maintaining Zendesk service tickets and Workplace slack channels, ensuring our team understands their needs and delivers the right solutions.
Build and maintain positive relationships with building management, suppliers, service providers, and vendors.
Maintain an inventory management system, including asset manuals, MEP schematics and diagrams, parts, facilities equipment, etc.
Must have:
Building maintenance and project management experience, specifically in a commercial office setting.
Maintain a personal schedule to remain flexible for off-hours/emergency support
Must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds
Strong electrical, mechanical, and technical skills are preferred
Nice To Have:
Proficient digital literacy. Experience with Google Suite, Zendesk, and MAC

The pay rate for this position is $33 per hour.
