GAP Medical is a medical device distributor that works with Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, and Podiatry surgeons. GAP Medical supplies diverse and advancing medical technologies from multiple manufacturers to meet the needs of our customers.


GAP Medical is seeking an eager Associate Sales Representatives to join our sales force. This position will be based out of the La Crosse/Wausau area. The candidate MUST live in the territory. The Territory Sales Representative will have existing business there to take over and will be responsible for developing new customer accounts, along with maintaining current customer relationships. This position includes but is not limited to: surgical device coverage within the OR, product training to MDs and the surgery staff, sales calling and setting meetings, billing, and customer follow-up/service.


This is a dynamic sales position in which the candidate is expected to be a self starter, motivated, and organized. Non-traditional working hours may apply, depending on surgery schedules. This position may require 2-3K miles or more of windshield time per month.


Responsibility and Duties:


-Develop and maintain customer accounts within the designated sales territory by being the primary point of contact to serve customer needs.

-Build strong customer relationships.

-Assist in training surgeons and surgical staff on proper use of surgical implants.

-Handle customer complaints and needs within a timely manner.

-Develop key relationships through frequent and routine customer visits, product demos, product in-services, and procedure observation.

-Meet and exceed quarterly revenue and sales goals.

-Uphold all quality control policies outlined within company guidelines.

-Manage territory with integrity and in accordance with company's Code of Conduct.

-Manage sales territory by obtaining PO numbers, filling orders, managing inventory at office and hospital, ordering surgical equipment, and responding to email/phone correspondence in a timely matter.

-Manage western Wisconsin hospital and surgery center accounts.

-New account acquisition via cold calling and lead generation.

-Clinical excellence in your respected area of expertise.


Qualifications and Skills:


-Bachelor's degree or greater is required.

- 1 - 2+ years of sales experience, in medical device sales.

-Athletic Trainer, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist experience a plus, and would meet sales experience requirements.

-Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.

-Aptitude to learn independently and help train others.

-Positive attitude and a team player who likes working in a fast-paced environment.

-High attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while still maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

-Valid Driver's License
