Keystone Experts & Engineers is seeking licensed General Contractors, construction professionals & estimators in all states to join our network of experts.
This is a fully remote, part-time, 1099 contracted position.
Our work is generated by insurance claims on commercial and residential structures. We ve built a strategic and skilled national base of multi-disciplined engineers, investigators, contractors, and industry experts in a part-time, contract capacity. Due to our unique business model, even when demand increases, our turnaround times remain at the top of the industry.
What you will be doing:
- Field inspections of residential and commercial buildings to provide property damage assessments.
- Construction repair cost estimating.
- Prepare summaries of findings, observations, and photo reports.
- Insurance dispute resolution.
- Expert testimony and litigation.
What you bring to the team:
- Minimum 10 years experience as a General Contractor and/or General Adjuster
- Proficiency in Xactimate (Verisk) Estimating software.
- Physical ability to perform site inspections and provide scope of repairs for multiple perils; fire, wind, flood, hail, other.
- Experience with insurance claim estimating, litigation, and deposition is a plus.
- Ability to provide written reports and photo reports according to Keystone s guidelines for quality and timeliness.
- Willingness to travel to assignment locations throughout your state of residence and surrounding states.
- Ability to adhere to tight deadlines by organizing, prioritizing and completing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Must have the ability to work independently, with little direct supervision. and have an internal drive for efficiency and productivity.
- Must be able to represent Keystone Experts & Engineers in a professional manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complicated topics to a wide variety of audiences.
- Must have strong computer skills, ideally including working knowledge of G-Suite applications (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets & Google Forms).
- High school diploma or equivalent required, with relevant higher education is preferred.
