**Description**

**Responsibilities**

* Responsible for reviewing daily shipping reports and releasing goods for shipments with strict adherence to a 1:00 pm deadline each day

* Responsible for adhering to customer route guides for shipping requirements

* Responsible for performing all order maintenance as required by the customer and the Planning department

* Responsible for expediting rush orders and following up with tracking information

* Responsible for obtaining written permission to change ship dates, etc. on necessary orders (early/late shipments)

* Responsible for obtaining written cancel date extensions

* Responsible for providing customers and Sales with daily order information (i.e., SKUs, UPCs, prices, carton packs, product availability, product information, etc.)

* Responsible for answering all customer inquiries in a timely manner (shipping information and advising future ship dates)

* Responsible for generating and distributing sales reports as requested

* Responsible for prioritizing orders for ads, new placements, new stores, etc.

* Responsible for reporting customer service statistics upon requests

* Responsible for communicating daily shipping requirements to the distribution center

* Responsible for performing manual order entry for non-EDI compliant customers

* Responsible for frequently serving as a liaison between the customer and Sales Representative and Merchandising

* Responsible for serving as a liaison between the customer, Sales and the Returns department

* Responsible for serving as a liaison between the customer, Sales and the EDI department

**Qualifications**:

* High School Diploma or equivalent is required

* Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, and Outlook) as well as experience with pivot tables

* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management

* Ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports

* Ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information

* Good communication skills (both written and oral) in order to effectively communicate and report information to all levels of the Company

* A bility to work in a team environment

* Possess strong organizational, reasoning ability and customer service skills

* Ability to prioritize work and answer questions related to work assignments

* Ability to work with minimal supervision

* Ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented and have the ability to perform the job under a moderate to high level of stress
