** Bakery Operations Manager (Starting at $22/hr+ commensurate with experience)**

**Description**
**Essential Functions**
* Process inbound and outbound shipments; alert and coordinate trucking pickups and
deliveries to bakery & cafes; prepare accurate invoices.
* Direct, train, coach, and monitor the performance of the logistics team (drivers, etc).
* Provide great internal/external customer service by fielding general inquiries and product questions; providing the status updates on orders; resolving customer issues via email or phone; and maintaining strong relationships with
external and internal customers.
* Communicate with internal team and bakery team members to advise of any delays, extensions or changes to incoming and outbound shipment issues.
* Order, receive, track and update inventory reports on a weekly basis. Conduct physical count of products and perform weekly inventory checks and confirm the accuracy of information.
* Train drivers in their essential job functions.
* Perform routine inspections of the vehicles for mechanical problems and cleanliness.
* Responsible for providing drivers clear and expectations, positive and constructive feedback, and candid performance appraisals.
* Ensure the bakery is in compliance with applicable health and safety laws and regulations, particularly as it relates to .
* Manage the bakery sanitation team, including the scheduling of sanitation team members and managing/overseeing completion of bakery sanitation tasks.
* Other duties as assigned.
**Required Skill-Set**
* 3+ years of relevant experience in a commercial multi-unit baking facility, restaurant, or warehouse setting.
* Strong analytical skills, organized, attention to detail, and accuracy.
* Understanding and proficiency of CrunchTime.
* Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (Proficiency in Spanish preferred).
* Positive, focused, and self-motivated, and willing to adapt quickly to changing policies
and procedures.
**Requirements**
* Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
* Able to lift and move varying case sizes up to 50lb as well as loading and unloading shipments
* Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
* Valid drivers license and good/clean driving record
