ARROW WORKFORCE is a staffing agency that focuses providing temp labor to local and national clients. We are currently looking for a "Registered Nurse" to join a company called TYSON FOODS in Lexington, NE.

Job Title: Registered Nurse

Type: Direct Hire

Location: Lexington, NE

Pay: $50 - $60/hr based on experience level

Shift: 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM (Monday - Friday)

Description:

Join our team as a Registered Nurse specializing in occupational health nursing. In this role, you will provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses. Responsibilities include conducting medical history and physical assessments, ensuring the highest standard of confidentiality, and participating in team member education on communicable diseases. Additional duties may be assigned by the manager.

Summary:

• Provide primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
• Perform health assessments for specified programs.
• Conduct screening tests such as drug and alcohol testing, spirometry, or audiometric testing.
• Maintain OSHA, state, and employee health records.
• Participate in plant safety and ergonomic programs.
• Assist with health promotion education and training programs.
• Identify and assist with workers' compensation cases.
• Maintain and document workers' compensation files.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education:

• Current unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse.

Experience:

• Preferably 1+ years' experience in a nursing field. Clinical hours may be acceptable for graduate nurses.

Computer Skills:

• Basic computer skills required. Ability to work with an electronic medical documentation system.

Other Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
