As a Buyer/Procurement Specialist, reporting to the Site Procurement Manager, you will partner with the stakeholders across the business and the Category teams located globally, to address any supplier related challenges and issues that arise. In this role you are a delivery-orientated, value creating partner, connecting across Procurement, the Supply Chain, Quality function and the manufacturing site to drive and deliver projects and improve On-Time In-Full delivery from our third party vendors. You have a passion for the business and strive for strong relationships necessary to make things happen to create value. You will use a range of IT platforms to gather and analyse spend data, drive performance against the KPIs and negotiate locally managed contracts.

Responsibilities include the following:
* Drive value to deliver the Dashboard KPIs. The priority KPIs are:
- Financials (cost & cash, primarily CoGS/OPEX savings & inventory reduction)
- Quality (reduce supplier deviations)
- Service (drive OTIF delivery and reduce supplier related stock-outs)
- Risk (support implementation of risk mitigation measures to ensure security of supply of key materials/service
* Support Site spend categories (Indirect Spend/OPEX and Direct materials) - execute on agreed procurement category strategies, projects or initiatives and negotiate some locally managed spend/contracts in these areas.
* Develop and nurture highly functioning relationships with the Site and relevant Commodity Managers/ Buyers to actively participate and input in the development/execution of category strategies.
* Work closely with the Site teams and Commodity Managers to identify and develop new savings opportunities, resolve issues and improve service and performance.
* The SPS (Site Procurement Specialist) is expected to directly manage certain Indirect and Direct spend.
* Support the SPM (Site Procurement Manager) on the execution of the Site Procurement Strategy.
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
* Bachelor degree and/or 3 + years professional experience specifically in an indirect material and services purchasing / procurement role (e.g. procurement for MRO / operational / facilities materials).
* Procurement experience across multiple categories of spend.
* Professional experience using MS Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Working knowledge of SAP and Ariba Guided Buying platforms a bonus.
* Experience with procurement tools such as sourcing, quotation analysis, contract negotiation, supplier review, supplier development and others.
* Experience in managing sensitive customer partnerships.
* Experience working with financial analysis (cost benchmark & financial audit with key supplier) and legal matters (contracting).
