1. The Contractor shall assist and help to ensure continuity of daily operations, and ensure that all current input, forms, reports and search functions work correctly in the modernized solution.

2. The Contractor shall be guided by an advisory group of NPS users, to improve each system and implement fixes or changes as needed.

3. The Contractor shall identify and suggest for implementation any additional features or improvements that may be required, would be useful, or, based upon experience, are simply improve or streamline staff workflow processes.

4. The Contractor shall ensure that NPS has ownership rights and access to all source code and that the system is adequately documented.

5. The Contractor shall ensure that all work is consistent with the NPS Information Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Handbook guidance and the requirements of the DOI/NPS Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) policies and standards.

6. The Contractor shall ensure the system meets the information security requirements as defined by NPS, DOI, and U.S. Government.

7. The Contractor shall ensure that the systems meet accessibility requirements as specified in Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act and associated standards. Skill set info TASK 1: MAINTENANCE AND ONGOING SUPPORT ACTIVITIES

- Providing maintenance support of all CRPS virtual applications and database servers which host on WASO Reston Data center, databases and application code, which includes any software/hardware updates/upgrades, patching, fixes, backups and recovery.

- Supporting timely upgrades to current versions of the above database and application software.

- Committing to a defined patching schedule and process (e.g., the Government shall be notified in advance and given sufficient time to test compatibility with all related software - example time for implementation could range from a few days to a few weeks after identification).

- Cooperating with the Government to establish recurring maintenance windows and limit all but critical security patches to distribution within these windows.

- Providing backup services and providing software solutions to manage the backup processes.

- Provide Continuous Integration and Automated Unit Testing (CRIT)
CRIT is using Jenkins to do continuous integration of the application components. Contractors will be required to setup continuous integration and testing environment for the applications.
Contractors are encouraged to keep the build and test environments up and functioning at all times.
Contractors are encouraged to write automated unit and integration tests. Unit tests build strong foundation for applications and help minimize the regression errors.
Provide or coordinate with each program for User Acceptance Testing
Contractor will facilitate program staff to perform manual user acceptance testing by setting up environment in staging environment.
Contractors are encouraged to capture and script UAE requirements for automated testing using tools like Selenium, Katalon Studio, or similar.

- Ensuring that all backup services meet all of the Government requirements with maintaining security and privacy.
- Provide support for both database SQL server, SQL cluster and application ASP.net server.

- Providing end-user Help Desk support, providing end-user assistance for using the system, assistance with running custom reports, and resolving any technical system issues.

- Providing communications and management capabilities to communication track and respond to technical assistance, providing the Government with a prioritized queue of Incidents and Service Requests by Severity, with expected Mean Time to Resolve/Fix (MTF) and Mean Time to Respond/Acknowledge (MTA) based upon demonstrated performance. Including ability for authorized government official ability to establish/revise priorities and expedite.

- Providing proactive and timely communications to the Government with both planned and unplanned issues, actions, and events.

- Guaranteeing uptime of all Contractor controlled resources in terms of 95% per month that the Contractor controlled resources shall be fully operational and available. Planned downtime is counted as the system being fully operational.
