About the role
TheTax Managerhas responsibility for planning,directingand coordinating all tax activities for Quantum Health and its subsidiaries, including the preparation of returns, compliance with federal/state/local statutes, and the accounting for all tax activities, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly/annual tax provisions.The Tax Manager will work closely with senior management and third-party service providers toestablish,implementandmaintainbest practice tax strategies for Quantum Health.
What youll do
- Manage the tax compliance process, including the completion of federal,stateand local income tax returns, including all related analysis and support (and coordinate with third-party service providers for the completion, as necessary)
- Responsible for the preparation of non-income related tax returns/reports, such as sales and use,propertyand tax incentive returns/reports
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax provision calculationsin accordance withGAAP, including coordinating reviews with the companys external financial auditors
- Responsible for the company oversite of the daily tax accounting transactions (income, sales, use and other- Federal,stateand other local taxes)
- Coordinate audits of taxing authorities for various federal,stateand local filings
- Maintain a system of policies and procedures and ensure thatappropriate internalcontrols are in place over accounting for income taxes and indirect taxes
- Coordinate with senior management and external advisors toestablishand maintain best practice tax strategies at the federal,stateand local levels
- Coordinate with senior management and external advisors to secure economic and jobs incentives and other credits available to the company, and ensure programs areproperly managed
- Supporting M&A activities as necessary and be a thought leader in tax planning across projects and initiatives

What youll bring
- Education:Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance;MastersDegree in Business Taxation preferred
- Licensure/Certifications:JD or CPA preferred
- 5+years experiencein role through either managing public company tax prep/reporting or public accounting serving public clients
- Experience preparing GAAP compliant tax provisions
- Experience coordinating and managing external tax service providers
- Experience building tax strategies, including coordinating with senior management and internal/external legal counsel on entity structure

- Strong administrative/technical skills; Comfort working on a PC using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), IM/video conferencing (Teams&Zoom), and telephones efficiently.
