Job Description

Trusted Space is seeking a Facility Security Officer with a Bachelor s degree or higher and 10+ years experience to join our team.


Plan and execute corporate facility posture: work with Leadership Team to identify classified facility needs based on growth expectations. Based on business needs, recommend classified facility options and execute facility growth plan (e.g. lease, buy, build) for classified location(s)

Manage and maintain Trusted Space security profile: Process annual corporate certification requirements (Self Inspection, KMP, Insider Threat, OPSEC, etc.), update and maintain facility clearance information (SF-328s, DD-441, DD-254s), monitor annual personnel training requirements, security incidents, and others o Develop, maintain, and update company policies and procedures according to 32 CFR Part

117 (NISPOM), DD254s, and contract requirements


Create, maintain, and execute security policies and procedures: to include but not limited to - o ensure Insider Threat Program is up to date with requirements and that employees are trained accordingly;

Provide security inputs to Export Control policies and act as liaison for export control actions and inquiries


Personnel Security: assist employees with initiation, maintaining, crossing-over, and terminating personnel clearances. Conduct security clearance indoctrination briefings and debriefings. Complete security screens for prospective employees.


Process visit authorization requests (VARs): complete VARs in a timely manner in Defense Industrial Security System (DISS) or customer-identified systems/processes


Training and awareness: promote a culture of security awareness within the organization by conducting regular training sessions and ensuring that employees understand their roles and responsibilities in maintaining security compliance


Proposal and Execution Support: work with the Business Development, Capture Management, and Program Execution teams to develop and update compliant proposal security volumes and contract data requirements list (CDRL) documentation related to security items (e.g. OPSEC Plan, Program Protection Implementation Plan, etc.)


Qualifications

Bachelor s degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Information Systems or related field. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Strong verbal and written communication skills


10+ years in facility security administration and management

Experience conducting industrial security operations for the US DoD or US Intelligence Community

An active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph

Experience with DISS, NISS, and NBIS

Knowledge of both DoD and IC customer workflows

Knowledge of OPSEC procedures and application of OPSEC to Sensitive Government information (FOUO, CUI)


Self-driven and results oriented, capable of effectively working multiples tasks

Desired Skills


Prior special access programs security experience


Past experience executing a facility growth plan (e.g. lease, buy, build) for classified location(s) to include working with customer sponsors and their security team to build out corporate SCIF space

Relevant professional memberships (Purple Arrow, Dulles ISAC, etc.)

Completed the Facility Security Officer Program Management for Possessing Facilities Curriculum Certificate


Salary Range: The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $150,000. Please note that this range is a general guideline and can vary.
