Job Details

UpSlope Advisors is looking for a rockstar Project Manager to join our team! This person will be pivotal in communicating with staff and clients, making decisions and monitoring the progress of the Customer Care Support Center (CCSC) Desk Support and Management services for a local government agency.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, schedule, budget, and resource requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Build, lead, and motivate cross-functional project teams, providing clear direction and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring that team members have the necessary resources and support.
  • Monitor and control project budgets, expenditures, and resource allocation.
  • Work closely with finance and procurement teams to ensure compliance with government financial regulations.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring that risk management plans are in place.
  • Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines or outcomes.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with government stakeholders, project sponsors, and team members.
  • Provide regular project status updates and reports, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed quality standards and comply with government regulations.
  • Implement and enforce quality assurance processes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with all aspects of the government contract, including terms, conditions, and reporting requirements.
  • Work closely with legal and compliance teams to address contractual issues.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct regular project performance evaluations.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on evaluation results.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in government contracting.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of government contracting processes and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
