SpaceNav is looking for an experienced Facility Security Officer (FSO) who will be responsible for overseeing and administering the SpaceNav security program. The FSO is responsible for coordinating with government and industry to ensure security compliance as defined by government requirements, including compliance defined in the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), and other government regulations.
The FSO will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and compliance of our facilities, personnel, and information.
Responsibilities
- Conduct personnel security processes, including security clearances, briefings, and debriefings
- Maintain accurate records of personnel security clearances and access levels
- Oversee access control systems and and processes for physical security, including badge issuance and visitor management
- Provide security education and training to employees on security policies, procedures, and awareness
- Conduct regular security briefings and awareness campaigns
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years experience as an FSO
- Active TS security clearance
