The primary responsibility of the Program Analyst is to provide day-to-day business analysis, marketing consulting and program management services, to one or more federal Clients.
This position requires a high degree of autonomy and self-direction, as the Program Analyst will often work independently on complex analyses and projects. The successful candidate must be comfortable taking initiative and managing their workload with minimal supervision. Despite the focus on independent work, there will be regular engagement with colleagues and external clients. These interactions demand excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively present findings, develop recommendations and solutions, and maintain productive relationships. The ability to balance solitary tasks with collaborative efforts is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic analysis, data driven tactical recommendations and general program support to federal government Client account(s)
Ascertain Clients business analysis and marketing communications needs, and effectively communicate them to internal departments
Perform strategic analysis on client business metrics, with ability to identify key insights, challenges and opportunities for growth/improvement
Analyze and synthesize large volumes of datasets to provide insights, conclusions, and recommendations
Generate cross-channel analytics reports using various analytics tools and multiple data sources and extract useful insights from the data
Create custom, automated reporting dashboards to improve workflow, efficiency, data availability, and quality of data analysis
Author, proof and present executive summaries, points of view, reports, presentation documents, and Client leadership briefing materials
Create and maintain program tracking reports & support routine data uploading/monitoring
Lead preparation and facilitation of Client meetings and internal account meetings
Collaborate closely across several Client offices/divisions and internal departments
Support and grow relationships with federal government clients, including program/technical managers and senior-level federal agency leadership
Maintain current and establish new relationships with teaming partners and/or subcontractors
Efficiently and effectively engage and interact with agency personnel and management
Education:
Bachelor s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or related discipline; and/or equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience
Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government contractor employment suitability determination (i.e. personnel security clearance)
Must be able to work on-site in Arlington, VA and at Client s offices in Springfield, VA up to 3 days/wk
Google Analytics Individual Qualification
Essential Skills & Experience:
Min. 3 years of management consulting or advertising agency industry experience that provides an understanding of strategic consulting, business analysis and marketing/advertising
Experience working with federal government agencies strongly preferred
Displays a high level of initiative and independent thinking
Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate and manage cross-functional teams
Well-versed with social media platforms (i.e. Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn)
Experience with social listening and/or news monitoring platforms (i.e. Qualtrics, Meltwater, Cision, Sprinklr)
Microsoft Office 365 (i.e. Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with Salesforce strongly preferred
Agency Management and Project Collaboration tools (i.e. Workamajig, SharePoint, Box)
