Join our dynamic team as a Production Manager! As a Production Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the production process and ensuring that targets are met. Your mechanical knowledge and experience will be essential in maintaining smooth operations. You will also be responsible for training and supervising production staff, implementing safety protocols, and identifying areas for improvement.

As a Production Manager you will:

  • Responsible for daily operations on the production floor, including scheduling, staffing, training and troubleshooting to ensure that all operations are in full compliance and meet or exceed safety guidelines
  • Develop and create training plans to maximize workforce capability.
  • Administer an open door policy with employees to address issues, problems and concerns.
  • Motivate and lead team members, provide coaching and development opportunities, monitor success through documented periodic work performance evaluations and enact corrective action.
  • Ensure that proper safety practices are followed, monitored and enforced.
  • Maintain an atmosphere of continual improvement of productivity, quality, safety, and good housekeeping practices are incorporated into all operations.
  • Establish effective communications and consistent work methods between all shifts and support areas.
  • Assure that all machinery, tools and tooling within the area of control are properly maintained and repaired.
Requirements:

Required qualifications for a Production Manager:

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is preferring in Business Administration or related fields or 3-5 years of work experience in supervising employee with a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve basic mechanical and electrical issues
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities while meeting or exceeding deadlines
  • Technically proficient with a strong sense of user experience, tact and business insight.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with competing deadlines
  • Skilled in performing detailed work with a high degree of quality and accuracy
  • Maintain poise and respond in a professional and respectful manner to all situations
