Job Details
This position is looking for a junior software engineer who is able to work onsite in Manassas, VA with 0-5 years of experience. This position requires US citizenship and a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. This is a 6-month contract to hire position that is looking to pay between $35-$45/hr. This position also requires candidates to be vaccinated for COVID and is looking to hire ASAP.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Build and maintain user interfaces and data visualizations based on designs from our UX team
- Knowledge of and experience using Linux
- Knowledge of and experience writing shell scripts
- Knowledge of and experience using Java
- Knowledge of an experience developing web-based applications
- Conduct code reviews.
- Understand, refine, break down, and estimate backlog items.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 0-5 years of related experience
