Production Support Specialist

We are seeking a Sr L3 Production support engineer to join our team.


Location: Salt lake city, UT

Requirements

  • 8+years of experience in Java/J2EE
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in the support role
  • Experience with Unix and Shell Scripting.
  • Knowledge in database (Sybase or MySQL)
  • In GIT for source code management
  • In operations & ticket resolution (incident management)
  • In in Technical concepts, Analytical and Problem-solving skills
  • Level 2/Level 3 application support for JAVA, J2EE, Spring Boot WebLogic, Open Shift Container


Responsibilities:

  • Production jobs and environment, on-call rotation
  • Triage, assignment & resolution
  • Configurations for programs, enhance existing programs and/or integrate packaged vendor solutions with existing systems
  • Tests (unit and integration), implements and provides on-going support for the applications
  • Monitoring and preventive maintenance
  • Status and SLA reporting
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production application defects
  • Minor application upgrades / enhancements
  • Infrastructure maintenance / validation
  • Disaster recovery testing / validation.
