Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a talented Legal Assistant with 2 3 years of litigation experience to join their dynamic team as the Legal Assistant Services Team Member.


As the Legal Assistant Services Team Member, you will provide comprehensive support to the litigation team. The ideal candidate for the Legal Assistant Services Team Member role will have 2 3 years of experience in litigation, possess excellent organizational skills, strong communication skills, and will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires onsite work from 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with all aspects of litigation, including drafting legal documents, preparing correspondence, and managing case files
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information using various resources
  • Coordinate meetings, depositions, and court appearances, and maintain attorneys' calendars
  • Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in cases
  • Prepare and file legal documents with courts and administrative agencies
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files in accordance with firm procedures
  • Provide administrative support, including managing incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and processing invoices


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-3 years of litigation experience in a law firm or legal department
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software, such as Westlaw or LexisNexis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with document management systems, a plus
