Basic function
Maintain and repair The Town Dock's buildings and equipment to ensure continuous productivity within
the business.
Principle Duties
Diagnose, repair, and maintain facilities and equipment. - A Food Facility and administrative building
Maintain and repair lift equipment - pallet jacks, forklifts and scissor lifts
Maintain and repair production equipment
Work orders include, but not limited to mechanical work, plumbing, carpentry, painting and minor electrical
Welding skills and experience preferred, but not required.
Operate the ice plant. This includes running ice production equipment, conveying equipment, scales and pumping ice for the plant and boats.
Snow removal when needed
Work independently and/or with other team members depending on the work
Maintain OSHA, HACCP, DOT and Food Safety regulations throughout the maintenance
Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness of the maintenance shop and work areas on the job.
Normal hours 7:00am - 4:00pm, with occasional requirement to answer calls after hours. Call backs and/or extended hours are required when needed; overtime is expected.
Other job duties as assigned.
