**Please note that highly qualified applicants do NOT need to be local to the Houston area to be considered! MARS will assist with your moving expenses OR coordinate your travel from your remote location.**
Essential Functions
- All of these - Physical requirements (heavy lifting, standing, bending, climbing, handling and assembly parts, can t be claustrophobic, must be willing to fly)
- Mental requirements (mental concentration to carry out the work, diligent, conscientious, and have a sense of urgency)
- Equipment use (forklift, power tools)
- Working conditions - frequently outdoors, frequently in small spaces
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Legal authority to permanently work in the U.S.
- Able and willing to travel up to 70% of the year
- Eligible for International Travel
- Understanding of basic electronic principles
- Knowledge and skill of basic hand tools
- Minimum of 3 Years of High Voltage Experience
Additional Functions:
- Assemble High Voltage Transformers
- Assemble HV Switchyards
- Use Common Hand Tools
- Mechanical erection of High Voltage Substations
- Pulling & Terminating Control Cable
- Operation of Vacuum Dehydration Units
