The Material Handler-Loader is responsible for filling customer orders accurately and efficiently, using both manual and powered equipment. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that our customers receive their orders in a timely manner.Roles and Responsibilities:Fill orders from tickets or voice according to set quotasUse pallet jacks and/or riding jacks to manually fill ordersIdentify products by description and quantity, and transport them to the staging areaCheck for accuracy in picking and maintain general housekeeping in the work areaComplete daily inspections of powered equipmentRead customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributedSort and place materials or items on pallets according to predetermined sequenceRecord amounts of materials or items received or distributedCount items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to Company standardsRequirements:Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with [Company Name] safety policiesRegular and prompt attendance is essentialAbility to read and writeHigh school or equivalentForklift and electric riding pallet jack experience preferredAbility to repeatedly grasp, stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. continuously throughout a 12 hour shiftAbility to adapt to change and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to work weekends, holidays, or a flexible schedule as requiredMust have a positive attitude, be dependable, and demonstrate initiativeMust be energetic and performance-drivenIf you are a motivated individual who meets the qualifications outlined above and is ready to join a dynamic team, please submit your resume.
