Full Time Reservation Center Team Member

**Summary:** As a **Reservations Team Member**, youll answer phone calls and provide guests with information about Silver Dollar Citys family of attractions, as well as other Herschend Family Entertainment properties across the United States. You might help one caller purchase a season pass to White Water, then answer the next callers questions about Showboat Branson Belle cruise times. You may even help a family make their dream vacation to Herschends attractions in New Jersey, Kentucky or Georgia a reality. You will enter a variety of data into our computer system, so good computer skills are essential. Excellent phone etiquette is also a must-have.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** include the following, though other duties may be assigned:
* Provide professional customer service via telephone and at off-site ticketing locations.
* Clearly describe and efficiently sell all available ticket types and promotions for HFE attractions, using computerized ticketing system.
* Continuously use approved cross-selling techniques so that customers are aware of all HFE attractions.
* Work flexible schedules that meet the needs of our customers, to include weekends, per the needs of an event or seasonal business.
* Assist with projects and areas, including the switchboard, administration, web site, ticket booths, and Group sales-related tasks.
* Manage difficult or emotional customer situations
* Maintain a high level of friendliness, service, energy, enthusiasm and respect.
* Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
* Is consistently at work and on time.
* Observe safety and security procedures.
* Ensure proper handling of customer credit card information in compliance with Property Procedures and Purchasing Card Industry (PCI) standards.

Required Experience **Required Experience:**
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Prefer prior experience in the service industry; proven sales experience in retail, telemarketing or sales-related field.
* Computer literate with working knowledge of terminals/PC; experience with ProVenue/Omni ticketing systems; type 30 wpm.
