Hotel/Resort Facilities Maintenance - Pool Maintenance Supervisor


Job Details

The Pool Supervisor is responsible for the operations of the entire swimming pool complex and the overall safety of those who use the facility. Maintains facilities by cleaning, washing, and vacuuming pools, conducting water quality tests, inspecting equipment, reporting deficiencies, and adding chemicals as needed. Coordinates in facility programming, maintaining, and ordering supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise all pool personnel to ensure staff is well trained and create a safe environment
  • Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of all pools, spas, and equipment
  • Procure chemicals, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Enforce pool procedures to ensure safety
  • Check for hazardous conditions and ensure proper safety equipment is available
  • Report all problems, including disciplinary issues, to Engineering DOE or Assistant DOE
  • Maintain accurate records of pool chemical readings and supplies
  • Follow proper cleaning procedures to maintain a clean environment
  • Provide suggestions to improve or repair pool equipment
  • Obey all safety policies, and roadway rules and laws when driving or operating company vehicles or equipment
  • Assign tasks and supervise a team of landscape maintenance workers
  • Develop work schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Train and mentor new team members
  • Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
  • Monitor job sites to ensure work is being performed safely and efficiently
  • Communicate with clients to understand their expectations and address any concerns
  • Provide estimates for new projects
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years
  • Driver License
  • Authorized to work in US
  • Lift 50 lbs
  • Stand long periods
  • Certified Pool Spa Operator (CPO)
