Position: Sound Supervisor

We seek an adept Sound Supervisor to oversee and support various game projects. This role entails setting the audio tone for projects, assembling and managing audio teams, and providing creative leadership. The position offers a blend of individual sound, music, and systems design contributions with overarching creative direction. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate as part of the creative leadership team
- Engage directly with game development teams
- Coordinate with client creative and audio directors
- Define project audio aesthetics and guide other designers creatively
- Develop game audio systems and supervise their implementation
- Build specialized audio teams for individual projects
- Supervise the work of audio leads, sound designers, and audio implementors
Required Skills:
- Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities
- Prior experience as an Audio Director within a game development company
- Demonstrated growth mindset and passion for mentoring talent
- Cross-disciplinary collaboration in creative and technical environments
- Empathy and commitment to fostering inclusivity
- Proficiency in people management
- Track record of shipping games as an audio lead/director
- Expertise in sound design, music design, and/or technical sound design
- Comprehensive understanding of game development processes across disciplines
- Ability to envision and implement creative solutions for large-scale projects
- Technical proficiency with Unreal, Unity, or similar game editors
- Experience using Wwise audio middleware or similar tools
- Familiarity with game audio production pipelines and optimization strategies
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent (required)
- BA/BS in a relevant field (preferred)
