Candid Wines is a wine importer and distributor that specializes in organic, biodynamic, and small-production wines from around the world. The company was founded in Chicago, IL in 2005 and champions wines that are produced with care and respect for the environment.


Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Sales Representative. We are looking for a rep in the West and South / South West suburbs. The Sales Representative will be responsible for managing relationships with current clients, prospecting and acquiring new business, conducting sales meetings and tastings with clients, and providing outstanding customer service. The role will be based in Chicago, IL but sales activity is entirely focused on the Western and South Western suburbs.


Our preference is for someone who lives in the West / South West and experience selling wine in this area is required.


As an independent, family-owned wholesaler, we pride ourselves on inclusivity. Team members participate in brand-building and strategy sessions and are regularly consulted as we grow the portfolio. We are the product of our combined knowledge and expertise.

Qualifications

  • Sales and Business Development experience in the wine industry in Illinois.
  • Wine knowledge and passion for wine industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Suite tools and CRM tools
  • Experience in the wine industry is a requirement
