**Overview:**
In a Merchandise position with Cedar Point, you will provide excellent customer service to guests and associates while monitoring, displaying, and selling merchandise in an outlet store or specialized location.
**How You'll Make A Difference:**
* **Merchandise Team Member** Sales Associates will provide excellent guest service by accurately running registers for purchases and transactions, restocking location, completing any necessary paperwork, and engaging in loss prevention techniques. FunPix Associates will assist guests with their photo selections as they exit various roller coasters and engage with guests one-on-one and by use of microphone. Sweet Spot Associates will engage with guests as Sweet Spot product experts and assist with register transactions and keeping location accurately stocked.
* **Leadership** Assists the full-time management staff in the overall daily operation of the Merchandise Department through actions such as managing specific work locations or areas and supervising associates. Leadership will handle guest issues and concerns in a courteous and professional manner, assist guests with questions and directions, and maintain accuracy in required paperwork.
**We're Looking For:**
* Must be at least 14 years of age **(Merchandise Team Member)**
* Must be at least 18 years of age and have previous retail experience **(Leadership)**
* Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs
* Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law
* Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law
