The Account Services department provides support to customers and employees mainly by phone. Their primary role is to service the interests of customers in line with company policies. They answer account-related questions, resolve issues with accounts, debit cards and electronically monitor and maintain the financial transactions of the Bank. Tasks and responsibility levels can vary individually.

**Qualifications - ONLY THOSE WHO MEET MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR EMPLOYMENT**

* Some banking experience with a strong foundation in Bankway would be ideal. At least 12 months steady work history in a customer service environment highly desired.

* A working knowledge of debits and credits and general accounting skills would be ideal.

* Must possess problem solving skills and the ability to offer assistance to others in a helpful manner .

* Basic computer knowledge and moderate keyboarding skills for numeric and alpha data entry is necessary for daily tasks.

* Crucial skills include organizational, initiative, communications (verbal, written and interpersonal) and the ability to work independently according to Bank policy and procedure.

* Necessary skills include attention to details and the ability to focus in a semi-open environment.

A successful ASR I must read at a level sufficient to understand memos, instructions and forms; write in a clear, concise and legible manner; use good judgment and relate tactfully, respectfully and professionally with co-workers and customers; be able to work alone or in a team environment; be able to work under time constraints and be able to speak with customers and positions of authority with confidence and knowledge.

**Primary Objective** - To support customers and Bank operations knowledgeably and with excellent customer service and to perform assigned tasks in strict adherence to applicable federal and state rules and regulations as well as Bank policies and procedures.

**Responsibilities** - Data entry; provide general account and problem solving assistance mainly by phone (priority!) and some in person; electronically monitor and maintain internal records; customer correspondence; internal account balancing and recordkeeping; general clerical duties such as scanning, filing and answering phones throughout the department and any and all duties as assigned according to Bank practice and procedure in a team-oriented environment (i.e. working in harmony with all bank employees). There are various job duties within this department on which one could be trained to share or hold primary responsibility.

**Expectations** are to perform all job duties and other responsibilities as assigned and to follow all safety rules and regulations.
