Marketing Manager - Direct to Consumer

Position Summary:

The Marketing Manager-Direct to Consumer will report directly to the Senior Director of Consumer Marketing of the company. This position is responsible for implementing and executing strategic marketing plans to attract more potential leads. The position will be responsible for the promotion of the website, day-to-day management of paid digital marketing campaigns, and marketing support for new franchisees. Other support or administrative duties will apply as needed or directed.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

1) Manage and monitor website

  • Work cohesively with Senior Director of Consumer Marketing to manage national website
  • Work cohesively with franchisees to manage local website requests
  • Assist the Senior Director of Consumer Marketing with SEO and SEM
  • Assist the Senior Director of Consumer Marketing with website reporting and analysis

2) Manage paid digital advertising , local and national

  • Monitor, analyze, and implement campaigns, and make proactive changes to improve performance with digital marketing strategy
  • Assist the Senior Director of Consumer Marketing with creative assets
  • Track and make recommendations for local digital spending commitments
  • Track required local digital investment levels and results

3) Marketing onboarding for new franchisees

  • Assist digital partner with onboarding of digital toolkit including local website, dashboard
  • Other administrative duties or responsibilities as needed, or requested

4) Anticipate and perform other administrative duties as needed, or requested

  • Properly document communications within our CRM application (Franconnect) when working one-to-one with franchisees
  • Ensure compliance with Brand Standards as outlined in Franchise Agreement and Brand Standards Manual
  • Assist in pulling data for monthly reports and presentations
  • Other administrative duties or responsibilities as needed, or requested


Qualifications:

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor s Degree required
  • At least 2-3 years experience in paid digital advertising and/or website management
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other general computer abilities such as internet research and Google Analytics

Skills Specialized Knowledge Abilities

  • In-depth understanding of common marketing and advertising best practices
  • Data analysis and critical thinking skills to review and apply campaign results
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to cultivate and develop strong business relationships
  • Must be extremely detail oriented with excellent organizational, written and verbal skills
  • Have high sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starter with strong team orientation
  • Ability to provide solid customer service to team and franchisees and exercise diplomacy and confidentiality
  • Calm, organized, patient, diplomatic and confident demeanor in working with staff, owners, vendors, etc.
  • Provide on-site and off-site support at meetings as appropriate
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to move projects forward, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create report


Working Conditions:

Working Hours/Environment

  • Office hours are up to 40 hours per week may require additional hours including evening and weekends depending on business needs
  • Work in a flexible environment in National Support Center in Blue Ash, Ohio and home office in the greater Cincinnati area

Tools and Equipment Used

  • Work computer, phone and other typical office equipment

Travel

  • Up to 10%

Physical & Mental Demands

  • Frequently required to sit at a desk/workstation for long periods of time
  • Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods of time
  • Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment
  • Moderate lifting and carrying of deliveries, supplies, files, etc. sometimes up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to speak to and hear employees/clients via phone or in person
  • Body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move around the office environment
  • Additional Mental Requirements: compare, decide, direct, problem solve, analyze, instruct, interpret
