Job Description
Prime Response Inc. (PRI), is seeking a full-time Warehouse Worker for a long-term government contract located at Federal warehouses in Washington, DC. Pay is $22.76 with single healthcare insurance paid for completely by the company (Family plans available). Please see below for the additional provided comprehensive and competitive benefits.
Duties:
Receiving, inspecting, delivering, and loading and unloading trucks
Understands warehousing processes and systems
Understands inventory management systems
Experience with furniture moving
Ability to use a computer
Ability to work independently
Highly dependable and punctual
Furniture moves and relocations
Transporting bulk items
Operating Material Handling Equipment
Operating the Warehouse Management System
Requirements
Forklift Experience preferred
Must be capable of passing a background check and drug test
Experience with Government contracts is preferred
Must have knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Must be capable of standing, bending, and walking for the majority of a workday
Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy material (up to 50 lbs.)
