Job Description
Keeps premises of office building, apartment, house, or other commercial or institutional building in clean and orderly condition.
- Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
- Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
- Sweeps, and scrubs floor.
- Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Dusts furniture and equipment.
- Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ashtrays.
- Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies.
- Sweep and pickup trash on the parking lot and entrances or as specified by contract.
- Cleans all sinks, commodes, and mirrors.
- Maintain custodial equipment and supplies to ensure economical use thereof.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Prior custodial experience required.
- Ability to pass criminal background check.
- Valid driver's license required, and must be able to provide own transportation for travel between various work locations.
- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Judgment must be used if items weigh over 25 pounds.
Additional Information- Schedule is typically 5:00 pm to 12:00 am, but may vary slightly.
- Work will be at various locations in Putnam County, WV. Valid driver's license required, and must be able to provide own transportation for travel between various work locations.
