Job Position: Assembler
Location: KANSAS CITY, MO 64150
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Shift: 2nd 9:00a-5:30p - this schedule will transition to a 2:00p-10:30p shift once the site is fully staffed
Description:
Fabrication Tech 1 will receive comprehensive training in various shop floor tasks including cutting, grooving, hole cutting, assembly, cataloging, and utilizing shop floor platforms. They will collaborate closely with the lead to enforce standard procedures. Duties may vary based on operational requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of technical experience.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical manuals.
Previous experience operating forklifts.
Forklift license for designated equipment (to be acquired post-employment).
Familiarity with forklift-mounted computers and bar-code scanners (training provided).
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 45 pounds.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe work environment and promptly report safety concerns to lead/management.
Ensure regular attendance.
Execute daily shop floor tasks efficiently.
Adhere to project schedules and manage materials effectively.
Operate fabrication equipment proficiently.
Complete daily checklists and TPMs.
Obtain certification on all equipment.
Conduct 5S duties regularly.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Perform any additional tasks delegated by lead/management.
