CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER - First National Bank & Trust is seeking a CFO. The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for overseeing the accounting function and all financial and accounting operations of the bank, as well as its holding company and its subsidiaries . The position is responsible for adhering to all related generally accepted accounting principles, tax and regulatory laws, rules and regulations to adequately and accurately reflect the financial position of the bank and holding company at all times. Participates and assists in formulating and meeting the organization s overall strategic business plans and goals, including the bank's capital plan; manages investments to meet liquidity, quality and income producing objectives; conducts financial and management reporting; prepares forecasting and budgeting; plans, coordinates, and executes effective processes related to the bank's capital and asset and liability structure; develops, implements, and monitors accounting policies, procedures, practices and internal controls. Additional related duties and responsibilities include:
- Shareholder relations and communications
- Deposit rates review
- Works with employees or directly with customers on deposit rate negotiations
- Vendor management as it pertains to customer information security
- Third party Retail non-deposit investments
- Expense control
- Oversee facility and fixed asset issues
- Chairs the internal ALCO committee
- Works closely with IT manager
- Works closely with internal auditor and serves on internal audit committee
- Manage bank and holding company insurance and bond coverages
- Manage all bank contracts
