This role ensures goals and objectives of enterprise-wide projects are achieved within a prescribed timeframe and funding parameters. Manages all aspects of a project, establishes timelines and ensures project deadlines are met.ResponsibilitiesThe Sr. IT Project Manager is to be well versed in project management, a trusted partner able to align teams to drive, execute and deliver. The role will manage multiple initiatives partnering with multiple project teams across the groups. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Working with stakeholders to define and agree on project scope and requirementsWork with the project team to create and manage project plans, milestone timelines, identify risks and provide clear communicationInterfacing with all roles across different groups to always ensure transparency and alignment of a projectManaging the execution of work, which includes tracking team progress, routing deliverables for review and approval and monitoring scopeActively monitoring project risks/issues, escalate in a timely manner, and drive teams to effective solutionsBeing able to hold your own in a team conversation, as well as with technical leaders outside of the teamHaving a working understanding of both business and technical discussions and the ability to contribute to eitherProactively identifies recommendations to make the solution betterQualificationsMinimum of 12+ years of project management experienceExtensive technical experience in all IT areasExcellent leadership skillsFlexibility and forward-thinking approach to the way work is doneAbility to work on multiple projects while prioritizing and meeting deadlinesOutstanding attention to detail and strong analytical and interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills and the ability to interact across all leverls in a confident and professional mannerSolid understanding of project management methodology, including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk, and develop detailed work plansExperience interfacing with partner vendors on technical delivery projectsLicenses and Certifications: Project Management Professional, PMP (preferred), Scaled Agile Framework (preferred)About TEKsystems:We're partners in transformation.
